Sealogis Freight Forwarding managed to implement corona proof working processes

After the outbreak of the covid-19 crisis our team managed very quickly and flexible to adapt their working processes and make them compliant with the safety instructions of the Federal government. 

“In March, thanks to the implication of our IT team, more than 250 remote controls were activated enabling the majority of our staff to work from home. To guarantee the safety of our staff, customer and business partners, a new tasks force launched actions immediately,”  says Edwig Laenen, CEO of Sealogis Freight Forwarding Belgium.

@home teams guarantee service and continuity

“Till the crisis teleworking was only reserved to sales and management teams but quickly we managed to provide means and solutions enabling also our operational staff to guarantee service and continuity whilst working from their homes. On top of it we designed a rotation system switching teams working from home and from the office as well as a courier solutions dispatching files and documents amongst the @home teams. Regular video conferences and contacts assured fluent internal and external communication.

Of course, hygiene procedures and discipline were at stake as well.”
